Brown Rice Balls

I was invited to visit Arsoa's Headquarters when I visited Japan in the summer.
I was really impressed by their idea of combining beauty and health.
I went to a cafe owned by Arsoa THE BIOKURA, I was so surprised how delicious it was. Usually delicious and healthy don't go together.
Since then, I try to eat healthy the way they suggested.
vegetable & fresh fruit juice, and brown rice.
I started making ONIGIRI for my employees and it has been pretty popular.
For my Onigri, I mix tuna, little bit of mayo, miso, and Shoyu Koji. Which I recently discovered and am a big fan of. It's a fermented mixture of soy sauce and Koji rice spore, it has a mild but rich Umami flavor.

夏休みに日本に帰った時に山梨にあるアルソア本社に招かれて訪れた時に、
その美容と健康を見事に融合させたビジネス理念に大変感銘を受けました。
その後帰りに案内していただいた関連事業の
ビオクラのカフェなどでも美味しさに感動してマクロビに興味が沸いて
ニューヨークに帰っても実践しているのが
毎朝の野菜と果物のフレッシュジュースと玄米ご飯。
おにぎりは小腹が空いたときにスタッフにも好評です。
中身のツナはマヨネーズを少なめに日本からのお味噌や
最近なんにでも入れてるしょうゆ麹。
