The Sakura Matsuri Festival is an annual event that takes place at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens at the end of Hanami, the traditional Japanese cherry blossom season. The Festival is the "nation's largest event in a public garden".
The cherry blossoms will be in full bloom, brilliant white and pink flowers and tulips of almost every color of the rainbow graced the walkway before the conservatory. If you are lucky, the magnolias will be also in full bloom, pure white flowers with a splash of pink blossoming from their centers.
